I'm the photographer behind Captured by Cristino, based in Suffolk County on Long Island and available throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Florida, and wherever your story may take me.

I photograph weddings, growing families, newborn days, milestone celebrations, and all the beautiful moments that happen in between. No matter what brings you in front of my camera, my goal is always the same: to create photographs that feel honest, personal, and unmistakably yours.

I believe the best images come from authenticity and connection.

Real life is rarely perfectly posed—and honestly, I don’t think it should be! It is the laughter that happens when you forget the camera is there, the way your child reaches for your hand, the happy tears, the movement, the chaos, and the people gathered around you that make your story worth preserving.

My approach blends gentle guidance with documentary-style storytelling. I’ll help when you need direction, fix the little details, keep things moving, and probably say something ridiculous enough to make everyone laugh! But I will also give you space to be fully present while I quietly capture the moments unfolding around you.

I’m naturally calm in the middle of the storm, which comes in handy during busy wedding mornings, energetic family sessions, and celebrations filled with moving parts. My job is not only to take beautiful photographs, but to create an experience where you feel comfortable, cared for, and confident that your memories are being intentionally documented.
